An eagerly expected follow up single to their excellent album see's Alumnia back on Claremont 56. "Pulsar" is a chugging bass heavy number that wouldn't sound out of place if Peter Green and Jon Martyn turned up for a post gig brandy round your mates house. All hefty Fx guitar and driven bass and a thumping kick to boot. Over on side-B "The Magician" rolls out a similar groove, following a beautiful intro with layers of echoplex guitar, heavy bass, swathing atmospherics. You know they're gonna sound good when the sunshine finally arrives.
